Helpful Guide: Everything You Need to Know: Galaxy Glasses and Galaxy Watch 9 battery details unveil

Samsung is likely to launch many new devices in the next few months. Reports that came earlier revealed the battery capacity of the Galaxy Tab S12+. Now the details about the battery capacities of the Galaxy Glasses and the Galaxy Watch 9 have leaked.

Samsung Gentle Monster glasses will rival Ray-Ban Meta

The Galaxy Watch 9 as well as the Galaxy Glasses are likely to launch this year. The Galaxy Glasses (EB-O200) will be Samsung’s first smart glasses. According to reports, it will be powered by a 245mAh battery with part number EB-BO200CAY. The device will also have sunglasses variant. Recently, a Samsung executive stated the glasses will feature an eye-level camera. They’re also expected to use a 12MP sensor. They will feature microphones, speakers, and a touch-sensitive control area.

The Galaxy Glasses will be offered in many colours as well as styles. Samsung has already confirmed that it’s working with fashion eyewear brands, Gentle Monster and Warby Parker. This implies that some styles will be designed in collaboration with those companies. The glasses will run Android XR and have Gemini for AI tasks.

Then reports on the Galaxy Watch 9 (SM-L355) reveal it will be available in two sizes as in 40mm and 44mm. The larger 44mm version will be powered by a 435mAh battery with part number EB-BL355BAY. This figure represents the rated capacity. It means the marketed or typical capacity will be slightly higher. This makes it larger than the battery used in the 44mm version of the Galaxy Watch 8.

In addition, Samsung reveals that its next smartwatch platform will use the Snapdragon Wear Elite chip. There’s the possibility it will be released in the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. For the Galaxy Watch 9, it will continue to use the Exynos W1000 processor. It can still be a slightly improved version of it. However, the smartwatch will likely be available in Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + Cellular (LTE) variants.
